Oobleckia
"5,4,3,2,1 blast off" went the count down of
the ship bound for Oobleckia. As they watched
there loved planet fade away into the ever growing
darkness grew. As Keala tried to remember when she
could just go and talk with her friends. The
reason is that she is the type that just likes to
talk to every one that came past her. As Josh
tried to remember his brother as he always had to
stick up for him. So he was wondering if his
little brother would be ok. Josh was the type that
was not afraid of any thing. Then there was Zane as
he tried to imagine how long it would be till he
would feel the heat from the earth under his feet.
Zane was the type that was a real scared cat. The
only reason that they let him go up was he was the
only one that he went was because they needed a
third person.
The astronauts were in space for over a year
now. Then only now they started to enter the
atmosphere of Oobleckia. The whole time they were
floating around. So they really want to be able to
walk on solid ground. They were also very eager
to see if they could eat the vegetation there,
because they were living off the frozen tube food
that they give you. When you go to space and it is
in tubes like tooth paste.
So as they entered the atmosphere of Oobleckia
they started to shake and lost control of their
space ship. They started going to the land but all
of a sudden they started to go to the oobleck. So
all of a sudden the SPASH in to the oobleck. They
then find a path that lead to the land.
They then encounter the natives of the planet,
the strange creatures asked if the spoke their
language. Amazingly their language was English,
which was what the astronauts spoke. The creatures
looked exactly like regular children from earth,
but the only thing that was different was that they
were green. They were also very short but were
very old. Then as they looked back out in to the
ocean they saw something about the size of a big
cargo ship jump out of the oobleck. So of course
Zane was getting all scared. Josh asked the green
little man what that was and they said that, was
the sea monster.
The astronauts were afraid that if they get
stuck in the oobleck then they may not have enough
fuel to get back to the earth. So Keala was asking
in there was away to get out the oobleck and not
get stuck. She found out that the oobleck will
harden with some heat. So they think of a way to
heat the Oobleck with out using any of their
precious fuel.
The astronauts were also faced with the
challenge and that was how to deal with the sea
monster. So they were thinking out loud when one
of the little martians over heard their
conversation. So the little martians go and see if
they could help with the sea monster. So after
they think about it they diced to help the
astronauts. The astronauts were wondering if they
could trust the martians. So the say that they
just have to trust them.
So now they had to think of a way to heat the
oobleck. So they think that they should make a
giant magnifying glass that would heat the Oobleck.
So they make the glass with the stuff that they
brought along.
So when they are ready to take off they tell the
martians to get ready. The reason is because they
wanted to be sure that they do not get tied up with
the sea monster because they just had enough fuel
to get home. So they could not afford to get stuck
with the sea monster.
Then they started setting up the glass. So they
set the glass up on the floating droids that the
astronauts brought so that it would be right above
the space ship. Then Zane started getting worried
about all the things that could go wrong. So then
Josh starts a suring him that every thing is going
to be OK. So then Keala starts to talk to her
self.
So then as they started to go on the ship the
martians give them all these presents, like food,
the types of flowers from the planet, and gave
every one a ray gun. So then as the Oobleck
started to harden they started to start up the
egine.
Then they started to see the monster coming at
them faster then a steaming frate train. So then
Zane of course started to get all plane out scared
and is sweating heavily. Then out of the corner of
their eye they see the little martians coming out
on their boats, and with all their spears and their
ray guns to try to defeat the monster. So as they
fought the mighty beast. Then they find out that
they can not deafeat the monster and then the
decide to just try to hold the monster off for as
long as they possibly could. So then they send a
messege to the astronots telling them that they
have to hurry and get away.
So the astronots find that they were getting
even more stuck on the Oobleck. So they then
decide to leave the floaters behind on the planet
so they could get away. As they were leaving the
planet they see the little martians shooting their
ray guns and throwing their spears, and doing every
thing that they could. The sad thing was that they
saw the first ship get taken under as they
left.
