The Mission Almost Failed
"Yes! We're going on a mission!" screamed
Jae.
"Finally." continued Kila.
"We're going together." added Sheryl
happily.
These girls, along with three others, are the
best of friends. They've known each other since the
seventh grade and continue to be best friends. They
have done everything together. All six of them are
really bright girls. They got into a great college.
Now they have become scientists at the MIU. MIU
stands for the Mission Impossible University. There
they study about space and planets.
Not only are these girls smart, but they are
also very kind. They would volunteer for things to
help out. Every Sundays they would go to church and
they would pray everyday. They've been waiting for
ever for this chance to go on a mission. All the
other people they knew had already been on atleast
one mission. They have many things to research on
that planet. The main thing they are to research is
if there are any life forms on the planet. They
will be traveling to the planet oobleck.
Natasha, Sheryl, and Tee love to party. On
November 17, 2176, the day before they had to
leave, the three of them had a big exciting party.
Jae and Kila went to bed pretty early, but no one
could go to sleep as early as Heather. She went to
bed at 7:00 p.m. No matter how early she goes to
bed, she is still tired the next day, when she
wakes up at 8:00 a.m.
Now it is November 18,2176. Everyone is
preparing for take off. the girls are all suited up
and ready to step on board. Everyone is in their
positions where they are to be seated. Now it is
time to leave. Three....two......one.....blast off!
There they went. Off to explore the planet oobleck.
Everyone is tired and of course Heather is
already sleeping. After that everyone else decided
to go to sleep to so when they wake up, they will
be energized. After a couple of hours, they woke
up. They had so much energy in them. They began to
act all goofy and messed up the whole place. Food
ended up everywhere. heather, Jae, and Kila wanted
to rest so they would have energy when they go to
the planet. Do you think anyone listened to them?
Nope. Natasha, Sheryl, and Tee continued on with
there party.
When everyone was busy doing something,
Natasha snuck into the controls room. She stared to
play with all of the buttons. All of a sudden, the
spaceship started to swerve. it went from right to
left then around in circles. Natasha was playing
around with the spaceship. She did that for a very
long time then stopped because she was very
dizzy.
When Natasha went down to rest, they all had
left and ugly surprise for her because the were all
sick. they threw up everywhere. The spaceship
started to slow down and drop. A couple of them
wanted to go up to the control room and see what
happened. They couldn't because they were too sick
to move.
After a couple of minutes, their motion
sickness wore off. Everyone was up and couldn't go
back to sleep. It was so quiet you could hear a pin
drop. No one wanted to move or talk. they were all
to scared. After a couple of minutes, their motion

of minutes that seemed like hours, Kila went to
check how much fuel they had left. She estimated
that it would last about a couple of minutes more.
"Oh no!" yelled Natasha, "The spaceship is
falling!"
The spaceship began to drop and it was out of
control. Kila was amazed and froze. Natasha went
back down to let everyone know they didn't have
much fuel left and they might not make it to the
planet. they didn't know what they could do to save
them. the only thing they thought of was to join
hands and pray. That is what they did. They
thanked God for everything then they asked for
help. They hoped and prayed for safety. None of
them thought a miracle would happen except for
Heather. She was the only one that actually
believed a miracle would happen. They had a moment
of silence for themselves to pray.
During their moment of silence, they had a
miracle happen. Aliens appeared to help them. They
were escorted to the planet oobleck. Then, when
they reached the planet and landed safely. They
thanked them and then said goodbye because the
aliens had to leave.
"Thank you Lord." was the comment from
Heather.
They were so happy and glad they were sill
alive. All six of them had to help clean up the the
mess they made. That took a long time, but they
finished their clean up. They were able to roam
around and search the planet. It was time to
leave. They've been there for a very short time.
They originally were supposed to stay there for
about a couple of days. they ended up staying there
for a day. the fuel crisis and the clean up took up
a lot of time. They only had a short time to
explore.
"I'm going to miss the planet." said Jae.
"So are we." said Heather, Natasha, Tee,
Sheryl, and Kila all at the same time.
It was time to prepare to leave. Again they
were all in there correct positions. Five...
Four....Three...Two..One Blast Off. Off in the
atmosphere and back to Earth.
