Problems, problems,problems

"Everyone suited up?" asked Mr. Cool. "Yes we are," answered Mr. Odd. "Alright then, let's all go to our spacecraft and get prepared for take off." It was a beautiful day in Waimanalo with the early morning sun shining so bright at the JSC (Jawaiian Space Center). Approximately 1000 people awaiting the JS to take off at around 8:00 am.

At 7:02 am Mr. Cool, Mr. Odd, Ms. Perfect, and Mrs. Solution got on the Jawaiian Spacecraft after saying good-bye to everyone and everyone wished them luck and said their good-bye's. "It's time for us to start our mission," said Ms. Perfect. "Yes indeed. Are we all ready? Everything packed?" asked Mr. cool. "Wait hold on. I forgot my good luck charm!" said Mr. Odd. "Hurry up!" yelled Ms. Perfect. When Mr. Odd returned, they all got into their seats, buckled up, and said their short prayers.

"5,4,3,2,1, take off!......" is what the crowd shouted. The Jawaiian Spacecraft was on its way to planet oobleck. " Push the LO button right now," ordered Mr. Cool, the captain. "The what button?" "The lift off button," yelled the captain. Mr. Odd still clueless of where this button was located said, "Captain, I still can't find it." Ms. Perfect made her way to the LO button and pushed it. "Mr. Odd, you better know what to do on our mission or else!" The spacecraft was now about 8 miles from earth and just got through their first problem. Not a very good sign. "Is everything set and ready to go?" asked Mr. Cool. "Yes captain, we are looking fine," answered Ms. Perfect.

The spacecraft was now traveling about 160 miles per hour which later on would decrease to about 100 miles per hour. Ms. Perfect was stressed out because they had a minor problem but was something important to her. So she started yelling at everyone because things didn't go perfectly. On the other hand Mr. Cool was making some joke about the LO button. Mr. Odd was in his own world looking out of the window and observing space and the things they passed. Like comets, asteroids, an the first shooting stars he saw. Ms. Perfect was also making sure that everything was perfect, in place, and reading more about a successful space mission. Time went by.

It was now 10:00 am the very next day and something funny was happening to the JS. They were going slower and bouncing all around in the spacecraft. No one knew what was happening. "What do we do?" asked Mr. Odd looking very scared and clueless. "I really don't know," shouted Ms. Perfect. " Well let's look through our computer..... It says that all we need to do is push the LX2077 button to fix the chain that has broken in our engine," said Mrs. Solution. So Ms. Perfect ran to the cockpit and searched for the LX2077 and pushed it. The spacecraft picked up speed and again started to travel more smoothly. Mr. Cool accidentally pushed the RX77 button to only find out that their small rockets shot out. Ms. Perfect shouted at Mr. Cool, "What in the world are you doing? You fool. We just lost one of our rockets.""It was an accident. You coward. We still have more rockets. And by the way, it isn't a very big deal!" Mr. Cool exclaimed with attitude. The two of them had a long argument until finally Mrs. Solution came and told them that they sounded like little kids.

Two days passed and everyone wasn't getting along and also having many dramas. But right when they were pretty close to oobleck planet, the floaters weren't coming out and no one knew why. So they got onto the computer once more to see if the floaters were out. The computer said that the floaters were out and everything was in good shape. However, Ms. Perfect went to check if the floaters were out and they weren't. So they started to have another fuss because everyone was clueless. And if the floaters didn't come out then they wold sink in the oobleck or have to turn around and go back to earth. They went to the cockpit and started to push buttons that was to be used with the floaters. But something else happened and the computer said,"This spacecraft will blow up in 30 minutes."Now everyone was even more frightened and angry at each other. There was so much commotion in the spacecraft because everyone was about to die.

15 minutes past and Mrs. Solution, as usual, had figured out the problem. One of the wires had broken which made the floaters not come out. So they had to look for the NKP22 switch to fix the wire. It took them quite awhile to find this switch and the computer had six minutes left. Then finally the floaters came out and they were one mile away from the oobleck. The computer had stopped counting at 35 seconds to go. Then they landed after having many problems. But one last thing. They now had to explore the oobleck. Oh no!
