The Purple People Eater in a Sea of Gloop
You can feel it but can not punch
it; you can tell it's a solid but still has the
properties of a liquid. I'm green, what am I? I'll
answer the question, it's
OOBLECK!!! This is how my story
goes....................................
There once was a girl with short
brown hair named Sadie Smith. Sadie
had a lot of friends and told them only five
friends could come aboard on
her ship for her journey to a uncommon planet
called Oobleck. Sadie
couldn't decide which friends to invite because
they were all really nice.
Although she was confused she finally
came to a decision. Desi, Brandon, Brittni, Nathan,
and Kristen would come aboard her ship.
Desi made a comment about how fast they took off
from the H.S.S.
(Hawai'is Space Station) to space. All the
swirling planets were a
beautiful beautiful sight but we all missed
home. Desi was being weird
as we passed Jupiter. Brittni wanted to know how
hot the sun was so she
rolled down the windows and felt it. That was a
dumb decision because
when she stuck her head out the window her hair
turned black. The coal
look of once known silky hair was now as black
as the midnight sky.
Everyone just laughed as she wiped her face with
a amber colored towel.
Brandon was really hot so he decided to swim in
the pool room. I wanted
to play volley-ball because almost everyone else
was. Oh yeah I forgot to
tell you, I also brought along a dog named Spot.
The reason his name is
spot is not because he has a spot on his body
but because he has a
giant one on his tongue. He would bother
everyone but they still loved him.
gosh was this dog hyper to the max. He would
spend hours chasing his
tail and biting his little friends.(fleas) His
little friends didn't like him and
he didn't like them but whenever he soaked in a
bath his little friends
would go down the drain. Spot is a faithful and
loyal dog and would do
anything to keep us happy. Desi just got a nice
big kiss from Spot but
Brittni just kept laughing because before Spot
kissed her he had just
licked his.... well this isn't sex Ed and
besides I still need to tell you what
everyone else is doing.
Nathan was working out because he felt his
muscles were shrinking.
Brandon just said that he was fine with what he
looked like. As we started
to pass the rings of Saturn I had a feeling that
nobody was excited to go.
Everyone said that it was fine and started
acting like crazy people. Doing
back flips and yelling at the T.V. and even
transporting into time with the
teleportation device.
Brandon tripped over Nathan's dumbbells and
Nathan said, "Be Careful!",
Kristen said that he was the only dumbbell here.
Nathan became furious
and said "You like one Crack?." She said sorry
and continued her
rampage of excitement. Desi sat down for a while
because she said that she was seeing stars so
everyone was worried, but I said that it was going
to be okay. Spot was barking and we all wondered if
he was hungry or something. We continued watching
T.V. and hanging out but we couldn't relax because
Spot still kept barking. Kristen told me that Spot
was like a radio in disguise and I told Spot to
stop acting like a chatterbox but he didn't
listen.
We all figured that something was wrong but
we didn't know what. Britt opened the windows again
and everyone warned her to watch out
the sun, and she told them to shut up. In a
goofy smirk, she said the whole
sea was purple and we were wondering what she
was seeing because
we knew it was supposed to be green. As we
looked upon the windows,
Spot lay down and stopped barking in a fear of
fright. Now we were really
scared. All of a sudden a loud roar was running
through the whole spaceship. So everybody wondered
what it was and when they looked out they saw what
all the commotion was about. This huge purple
monster came bombarding the crew. We didn't know
what to do so we screamed like sissies. Spot
began barking again so we told him to shut up for
the sake of his life and ours. The monster took a
big breath and blew almost all our belongings out
of the ship.
We needed a plan but we didn't know what to
do!!! I said that if we poke all his seven eyes out
then his powers would be drained but before I could
even say "Jumping Jacko-lanterns!" Spot went crazy
and started to chew on the monsters long white
horn. (on his head) Being so swift the monster
swung his arm, cracked the see through window and
threw Spot across the hard cold floor. Kristen
cried for she thought Spot had gone to doggy heaven
but in actuality he was pretty much up and running.
The monster shattered into bits of ashes and we all
hugged Spot. It was a good thing that Spot likes
bones so much because Spot thought his horn was a
bone. We decided to unmelt the sea because we
already wanted to go home. Our rays
(freezing and heat) were low on power and needed
to cool off. We also decided to just cruise in our
spaceship, also in our underwater glass cruise
ship. We explored the deep waters of Oobleck and
saw many things including a mermaid, and flag fish
but the animal that we wanted to see the most was
our hero dog, Spot. We were homesick and all went
back to Hawai'i and bragged about our dog and the
sights we had seen.
