The Battle Of The Two Worlds
My crew is Shelby, Kevin, Ka'iu, Tano, Aurora,
and myself, Bleys. I am the leader, Tano is the
technician, and Kevin is the mechanic. All of the
women are there just to assist the men. I am
fearless, Kevin is strong, and Tano is a brainiac
of the group. All of the girls are dynamic type
characters.
My spaceship is a beautiful red Acura NSX.
Across there are some modifications. It runs on a
thing I like to call N.O.S.F.T.M. and that stands
for NitroOxideSpeedFarsterThanMach.
In a galaxy far away my crew and I had just
landed on a weird planet called Oobleck. We were
floating on some kind of green sticky water with
our big balloons. I was exhausted and my crew must
have felt the same way, so I thought we should have
an hour nap. "Crew we are going to have an hour
break to eat, sleep, or listen to music I
said."
I saw them all doze off into a deep sleep and
then I did to.
When I woke up I felt energized and ready for
anything. My crew just started waking up. "Tano
lower back balloons." Tano pushed the, deflate back
balloon button and the back balloons inflated 'till
they were in launch position. "3-2-1, Lift Off!"
Tano pushed the launch button. "We have lift off
said Tano."
While I was flying the ship I looked through the
rear view mirrors to see if the balloons were
deflating into the proper places, which is inside
of the tires.
I drove around for hours looking for life or at
least signs of life. I saw many lands with
different kinds of terrain that was similar to
Earth's terrain. To me it looked like Earth with
green water and no people or any signs of people or
so called Oobleckian life forms.
Next I saw a huge city with many people. The
people looked like green-human beings to me. I
concluded that they were molecules that came out of
the ocean. They also probably don't eat and only
drink their green putty ocean.
"Get ready to land." "Turn off thrusters, turn
on the fans and rotate wheels to land and drive
around to inspect the Oobleckians." Tano pressed
all the necessary buttons and we landed
successfully.
Once we landed the Oobleckians started firing
their plasmatic rays out of their hands. The rays
were green like them.
"Tano inflate the front balloons and launch."
Tano pressed the button to inflate the front
balloons and as soon as the front balloons were
inflated, Tano launched the spaceship.
Again, after we lifted off Tano pushed the
button to deflate the front balloons into the front
two tires.
I was flying and thought to myself that they
couldn't get us on top of the green ocean or if
they did they would be stuck in the ocean.
"Get ready to land on the ocean." "I don't think
they can get us there."
"Tano stop thrusters and turn on the fans, so
the Balloons can come out." Tano did all of the
preparations and everything went as planned and we
had successfully landed on the ocean.
"Ah, they are catching up Aurora said." I looked
through the rear view mirror and I saw them
catching up in speedboats.
"Start launch sequence Tano." Tano pressed the,
deflate the back balloon and they were inflated to
the right amount. "Launch!" Tano hit the launch
button.
I drove trying to avoid the plasman ray guns
from hitting the balloons while they were returning
to the tires. All of the balloons popped. Luckily I
wasn't going to land on the ocean again.
Then the speedboats started flying. I turned
around and started shooting at them with the blue
solar powered laser guns. The laser guns were,
controlled by honking the horn.
I shot at anything and everything. They
dissolved into green globs. The spaceship was
scratched a little so I landed it for Kevin and
Shelby to fix it.
The next moment, the whole entire population
came in and started shooting at us. They flew in
from all directions. I needed to turn and shoot
everywhere.
They hit our main thrusters that were used to
lift off so we were stranded there and we cold only
drive around in circles. There were green globs
everywhere because they kept on dissolving.
Now there were many scratches on the car and I
was pissed off. I started to close my eyes and
shoot frantically.
Do you know who you are beepn' with. You beeped
with my crew and my also my beepn' car. My crew's
mouths were open.
After a while, I finally defeated them all. My
crew and I were very scared about what had just
happened but were relieved that we had defeated
them all.
"Kevin and Shelby. Start repairing the ship," I
yelled. "Tano and Kaiu start finding the
coordinates to get back home."
I put Aurora and myself in charge of watching
the sip. Aurora and I relaxed in air-conditioned
car and listened to music. That was on of the good
parts of being the leader.
While Aurora and I was laying, down and
contemplating our current status, the rest of the
team was still hard at work.
Finally, Kevin and Shelby finished repairing the
launch thrusters, painting the car, and replacing
the balloons. Tano and Kaiu finished their report
so we knew how to get back home.
"Good job crew. Now it's time to get out of
here. Everybody get in the car," I said.
I started the engine.
"Inflate front balloons and blast off," I
ordered. Tano hit the launch button and we were on
our way.
It wasn't long until we had some altitude and
soon we were covered in the darkness of space.
There was a loud crash on the front of our
spaceship followed by repeated thumps on the
outside of the ship.
I found out that we were in the middle of a
meteor shower that had turned our ship into a bass
drum at a parade. Fortunately it didn't last long
as we steered clear of the flying meteors.
"Kevin, damage report." "No major damages but I
think we're going to need to touch up that paint a
little..."
Before Kevin could finish his sentence, a couple
of small meteorites smashed through the hull of the
ship just behind my chair instantly killing my
entire crew and destroying the entire middle cabin
area of my ship.
A thin layer of silicon paper dropped over the
whole in the rear portion of my compartment to
completely seal me in, and saving what little
oxygen I had left.
I used the maximum thrusters to maneuver the
ship but could not stop the ship from falling into
a black hole that was created by the falling meteor
shower.
As I was sucked into the hole I lost all concept
of time and space. Everything was in slow motion
and it was so silent that I could here the beating
of my own heart echoing through my head.
Just as I was about to lose consciousness, I was
through the black hole and somehow I found myself
sitting in my spaceship amongst my crew.
"Are you all right Bleys?" asked Kevin. "We're
all here and are ready to take off when you
are."
I studied the faces of my crew still wondering
about what had just occurred or if it really
happened at all. As I thought about whether I
should tell them what happened.
Shelby yelled out, "Wow. Look at that falling
star."
As I looked up at the sky through the front
window, I saw an amazing display of lights dancing
toward the ground as the meteor shower came through
the atmosphere.
"Why don't we just wait a while and enjoy the
view."
We sat there for about two hours and watched the
brilliant display of lights.
That was all I had ever said about the meteor
shower to my crew making no mention of the black
hole, or the explosion to the spaceship, and
decided that some things are better left
unsaid.
We took off to home and I told my story to my
children and fought them that in the darkest of
times the light.
