Warriors Strike Back
It's 7:45 a.m., just another ordinary
Thursday at school. The sun was shining and
students were rushing through the halls to get to
class on time.
Whew I barely made it t Mrs.D's science class
on time.
"Good morning class." she said as she
welcomes each of us. Today we were going to be
learning about . . . .
I was extremely tired from the night before.
Not even Mrs.D's usual enthusiasm could keep me
awake. Her words got softer and softer as I
drifted and drifted.
As I cautiously observed my surrounding, I
noticed zillions of goobers and koobers racing
through the sky. Where could I possibly be?
Suddenly a low voice filled the air.
"We're going in for a landing. Sit back and
buckle up. This could be a rough and rocky
one."
After a bump and thump the Honu Express came
to a stop.
"Welcome to the planet of oobleck," the voice
said again.
Everyone carefully exited the Honu Express
clinging together with wobbly knees.
"Where are we?" I asked Jae-Kila.
"We have just landed on the planet Oobleck,"
she replied.
All of a sudden we heard weird and eerie
noises. Strange, little green aliens began popping
up everywhere. These cute little creatures each
had three beady eyes ad two antennas protruding
from their heads. Amongst all the green Bleckies,
there was one ping Bleckie. We figured she was the
queen.
Being niele we walked closer and closer to
the Bleckies. No longer cute, little creatures,
they viciously attacked us. Everyone escaped
except me. they grabbed me and dragged me to their
cave. For little creatures, they were really
strong. The last thing i remember is a bash to my
head. My world turned black. I awoke to the
Bleckies saying, "What should we do with her?"
said one.
"We should kill her said another.
I knew perfectly well, I was not in a good
situation. I was scared and so alone. "Where did
everyone go?" I prayed and prayed. My prayers
were answered.
While the Bleckies were asleep my friends
came to rescue me.
"How did you find me?"
"We followed they Bleckies and saw where they
took you."
"Thank you so much. Let's get them back by
capturing their queen."
"How do you expect to do that?" asked
Jae-Kila.
"We can sneak into the chambers, grab her,
and run out."
"Sound like a plan." everyone replied. So
Jae-Kila, Deanna, Heather, Kalei, Mia, and I snuck
into the chambers and captured the queen. She
struggled and struggled. There was nothing else
she could do. Finally she gave up.
"You are now our prisoner." said Deanna.
"Please let me go. I'll do anything," said
the queen.
Many days passed. The Bleckies were worried
about what happened to their queen.
"Where do you think she is?"
"Those evil humans probably took her."
Back on the Honu Express the humans and queen
got to know each other.
"So Miss. Queen tell us about you," said
Heather.
"My name is Lydia. I am really sorry about
what my people tried to do to you. If I get them
to stop hating you, will you please let me go?"
The humans discussed letting the queen go and
finally Mia said," OK, we have decided. If you
tell your people to stop hating us, we will let
you go.'
"OK, I'll talk to them right away."
The humans an Lydia went back to the Bleckies
cave. As they walked inside, all the Bleckies were
happy to see their queen again.
"My queen how are you?"
"I am fine. I need to talk to you about
something. I know that you all think that humans
are bad but they aren't. They had the choice of
killing me but they didn't. They are really nice
and I want you to like them too."
"We are sorry." said the Bleckies. "We will
try our best to like the humans."
Everything is finally alright between the
humans and Bleckies. They had a wonderful time
together. It was time for them to leave. They
said their good-byes and were off. We eventually
had a wonderful adventure on the planet of
oobleck.
"Rrrriiiinnnngggg". I jumped up at the sound
of the bell. I then realized my journey to Oobleck
was only a dream. Off to Social Science.
