Oobleck World

Oh no! It's almost time to leave! We were all waiting for our spaceship to take off as we walked back and forth and glanced up at the clock. As we were pacing, we heard, in the speakers, that our spaceship would be taking off in ten minutes. We finally got all our bags picked up and started to walk towards our spaceship. There was silence all over, as we dozed off into space, thinking, when finally Sara said, "We might want to hurry up so our spaceship doesn't leave without us." Everyone agreed, so we quickened the pace to something a little less than a jog, but more than a casual walk.

We all got to our spaceship with three minutes to spare. So we started to look around to get acquainted with the surroundings. It was finally time to leave so we all got our stuff. Three... two... one... BLAST OFF! We were off! So far, John and Joseph were handling the cockpit well by themselves, so Francesco and Robert wanted to look around the spaceship more.

All of a sudden there was a loud, boom!!! The spaceship started to shake when Mary yelled, "Meteor shower!" Joseph had to do some quick dodging around all the meteors. We barely missed one! But yes we made it! The meteor shower had finally passed, and it looked to be smooth riding till we got to planet Oobleck. As we rode on, I started to feel a warm feeling like when the sun shines on you not too hot, but just right.

We arrived at planet Oobleck. The ride took us one month. It felt long, yet short at the same time. There were times when it was fun, and there were times when you just sat there and went into your own world.

When we got to planet Oobleck, it was really cool. Oobleck wasn't at all slimy, so we decided to get started on our work. Mary, Francesco, Josiah, and Robert went out to get Oobleck samples. They were gone for a very long time because they had been doing some exploring and found some creatures. These creatures were very beautiful. They had lots of vibrant colors and lots of designs all over their bodies. Although they looked beautiful, they also appeared mad. They had weapons of some sort, which at this time was pointed right at us. They were speaking to us and "You should go away before we pulverize you! If we are to get angry, it won't be a very pretty sight! Leave NOW!" John said "We mean you no harm. All we would like you to do is to let us explore your planet." The creatures still had the weapons pointed directly at us as they were thinking of what they should do. The creatures finally agreed as long as we didn't bother or disturb them.

The explorers brought the Oobleck samples back to the spaceship. Sara, Joseph, and John went straight to the lab with the samples. They examined them while I tried to get connected to home base. I finally got connected and Sara, Joseph, and John told the base everything they knew.

We gathered all the information we could and we started to pack up. We planned to leave the next day. Mary, Francesco, Josiah, and Robert wanted to go out for their last journey through Oobleck planet. They told Sara, Joseph, and John to hurry up and pack before they get back from exploring.

When Sara, Joseph, and John came back to the spaceship, they took off. By the time they returned to home base, everyone was waiting to get the oobleck, so they could run more tests on the oobleck. They soon realized it was safe enough to stay there as long as they have food because food can't grow there. When they were done running tests everyone was having fun playing with the oobleck.
