"Vacation!"
Missing school has its good things yet it also
has some bad things. To Johansen, it's bad because
he's a strait A student with perfect attendance.
Now he has to miss a couple of weeks and he still
has no clue about it but His Mama, Dad, and baby
brother Jammy will let him know.
"Welcome back to school class!" said Mrs.
Matzerick. "This sixthmester we will be learning
about Oobleck and Natariono and the bonds between
the two lands. Johansen what are you doing? "
"Oh well, I was just thinking of a new artwork
for the main building contest," Johansen said.
"Okay," said Mrs. Matzerick looking in
disbelief.
"How was your day, Johansen?" said Mama.
"Okay, but we are only learning about the
migration of the people from Natariono to Oobleck,"
Johansen replied.
"Oh! Um, it does sound easy. Well, what would
you like for dinner?" asked Mama.
"Could I have Charane?"
"What!?"
"Spaghetti,"
"Oh,"
1 month later
"Johansen wake up! It's already 6:00 a.m."
Mama said.
"Its to early to wake up," said Johansen.
"Now get ready and we'll hover you to school,"
Mama replied.
"Ok Mama," Johansen told her.
On the way to school, Mama tells Johansen a
surprise. "Johansen!" Mama exclaimed.
"Yes Mama"
"I've something to tell you".
"What is it Mama"
"You remember me and your Dad talking about us
going to Grand Theme Park on the Planet of
Oobleck
"yeah" said Johansen.
"Well all of us including your baby brother
Jammy will be going to Grand Theme park for a
couple of weeks and no questions because we already
made the plans" "Oh" did I mention that you will be
missing school
"missing school" said Johansen
"Well hear we are at your school Oh yeah don't
forget to ask for all your homework you will be
missing.
"I wont Mama"
The Day of the Trip
It doesn't look like Johansen has changed his
attitude since the first time he heard the news. So
lets see what happens now.
"Are you excited to go to Oobleck Johansen" said
his Dad
"No Not really because all of my teachers did
not want me to go and they were really to the point
they told me all the things I will be missing and
it sure was a whole lot."
While Johansens Mother and Father were doing
some last minute packing Johansen tried to make a
run for it. As quiet as a mouse he tip toed his way
out of the house and as fast as a chetah ran into
the bustling streets of Natariono.
"where do I go from here" said Johansen
Johansen thought about running to the school
courtyard and hiding out in the new shack, but new
that it was closed on fridays except on thriolo(
special) days. All of a sudden a old 3t100
hovercraft came down with its out of date shine,
only to see Johansen's baby brother Jammy licking
the window dry from the juice spilt on the
window.
"Johansen where were you, we were worried sick.
We could have missed are flight if we did not find
you as soon as we did." said his Mama
"I was hoping we did miss the fight" Johansen
Mumbled.
Racing to the Hoveria port the biggest one in
Natariono the family finds themselves lost in all
the hustle and bustle in the big Hover port.
"Ding dong gate 642 hover 1920164 to Grand Theme
Park and Bleckaa is now Boarding premiere members".
"That's us we got to go" said dad
On the hovercraft the family runs in to even
more problems.
"Welcome aboard the new Luna Liner, this way
please" said the attendant.
"This thing is huge" said Mama
"Here is your room, room 304 please enjoy"
"Lets go inside so I can hit the shops" said
Mama
"Well i'll stay here with Jammy and Johansen"
said Dad
The whole family had a bunch of fun at the
shops, The pool, and all of the other fun
activities all except for Johansen. Johansen was to
pre occupied in his homework until
"Jammy!, what did you do I cant believe it".
said Johansen
"What's wrong Johansen" said his Dad
"Jammy at my homework, my homework dad"
One day later Johansen is still mad at Jammy and
the fact that he had to go on this trip. To make
matters worst they had a freak for a captain.
"Hello everyone this is your super hero captain
Carlos, today's lunch special is bacon the best
bacon in the world. Just kidding.
"When will he stop" said Mama
"At least he didn't loose any homework to his
baby brother" said Johansen
"get over it "said Mama
"Lets all just go to the pool and relax for once
Johansen"
Johansen said yes and went with his mother and
father all around the ship from one shop to the
next. Then they relaxed at the wonderful pool, but
they noticed that Johansen really wasn't having the
best time.
How could they tell you ask, at all the shops
all Johansen bought was things for school such as
pencils. At the pool Johansen made calculations on
how long everyone at the pool could hold there
breath. So his mother and father took him to the
last fun thing on the ship to do, interactive game
world all fun all the time.
Johansen went in and saw all the wonderful
games and asked "doesn't this cost a lot of money"
and his parents replied "yes but we want you to
have fun so go and enjoy yourself"
Johansen at first walked but then saw the
amazing game called school hose rock where you try
and escape school and after Johansen tried it he
loved it and played it over and over again.
"maybe this trip stuff isn't all that bad said
Johansen".
Johansen and his family finally enjoyed there
trip they made it safely to Grand theme park safely
and everybody was all right and played happy ever
after.
"JAMMY!",Bacon, Bacon, Bacon. "Carlos"
I guess not that happy ever after.
