The Lost Island of Shamba
A few years ago on May 10,2024 there was a
story in the newspaper about a new planet that was
almost like earth. So then scientists did some
research but didn't get all the information they
were looking for. So they decided to send a
spaceship crew up to this new planet to check it
out. This is how the journey began. It was 10
second till lift off and everyone was buckled in
safely. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0, was said then they
lifted off from earth, heading for space. Everyone
said that space was amazing because it was one of a
kind and it was so beautiful.
It took them ten years to reach this new
planet because it was the last planet in the solar
system. That's why it took 10 years to get there
because to get to one planet takes one year. They
finally got there and it was almost identical to
earth. But just in case the planet was dangerous we
took gadgets with us from Patrick. Patrick is the
spaceship's gadget guy; he has all the gadgets that
we for this trip. He said to be careful because who
ever lives here might be more powerful than
us.
As we walked around this strange planet we
came to a suspicious forest. As we walked through
the forest Victoria the head captain said to paint
blue X every ten steps on the ground. On our way
through the forest we heard strange voices all
around us and come to find out that these voices
weren't said by humans but by animals. A long time
ago there was a chemical spill in the forest and
all the animals happened to drink it which gave
them the power to speak to anything that was a
living being. Then we followed, Captain, the
spaceship's dog, which seemed to smell something in
a far distance. Thanks to Captain's nose we find
this mysteriously lost village of Shamba. This
village has been lost for centuries. We entered the
village thinking it was like any other village. But
their whole wardrobe was an Egyptian/Aztec/Indian
wardrobe. They live their lives like attackers it's
very strange. Then Tiffany the assistant captain
said that she has a bad feeling that these people
weren't like this before. So after that we decided
to go investigating.
While we were investigating the village of
Shamba we find out that someone is trying to
capture us by leaving traps everywhere we go. We
pass these two animals that are talking about some
kind of spell going on in the village. Immediately,
we stopped and reversed back to the animals and
started to ask more questions about this spell.
They tell us that this evil wizard put a spell on
the whole village. So then we just let it go and go
on with our investigation. Until we find out that
the villagers are after us. So we go back to the
animals again and we ask them if they know where
this mysteriously evil wizard lives. They said he
lived on the mountain to the right with the little
light shining on the inside.
So we decide to go up to the mountain and
find the evil wizard's layer. Then in a distance we
could see a man walk out of his house. Then we got
to the wizard's house and knocked on his door. He
opened his door and we told him that he needed to
reverse the spell on the villagers because they
were all out to get us. In that split second the
wizard vanished into thin air. Then we run back to
the spaceship.
We get to the ship and try to lift off,
but the ship won't start. The villagers are outside
of the spaceship and they are trying to get inside
of the ship. So, Britney suggests that we need to
create a diversion so we can go find the wizard. We
checked the windows and the villagers have already
left. It is very odd. We decide to go outside and
possibly defend ourselves if they happen to be
hiding. The missing villagers gave us time to look
for the wizard. We then see those two animals again
who helped us find the wizard in the first place.
Once again we ask them if they have seen the wizard
lately and they say yes. They also said that he
went off to the left. We follow the directions that
the animals told us and capture the wizard. Sea
then says "if you try to disappear again I might
have to whip out a can of kung fu on you." So, the
wizard did as we told and turned all the village
people back to how they were before.
We, spaceship crew, stayed there for a few
days but then felt that it was the right time for
us to go home. So off on the shuttle, we went to
space. Once again it took them another 10 years to
get home. So through the galaxy they went back to
planet earth. As we landed on earth it was a bid
relief because we had a lot of problems on the
Oobleck planet and it was a good time to relax.
However, I forgot to mention that that before we
left, we took one little specimen, which was a
little talking monkey, in that we could remember
that crazy adventure. And that, was the story of
the identical earth, well...almost!
