Battle For Life

The year is 3,505 AD. The earth has blown up and we seek a new home planet. Five years ago an asteroid the size of the USA plunged into the earth. Fortunately, we were long gone when the earth vanished. We have been searching for a new planet for a little over 5 years. We are wandering in the middle of no where in a floating ball. Our fuel cells are running out of energy like water faucet left on and water keeps flowing out. Occasionally we lose power through out the space ship.

We have found a new planet that may be suitable as a new home. Were sending a miniature space ship to inspect this new unknown planet. We had no ideas of what we were up against. But we knew one thing, we were losing hope on survival and it will only be a matter of time before we die.

Hello, I am Captain Merham. My crew and I will be setting course for Ufugugus in 5 hr. My heart is pounding faster and faster as time goes by and I feel a cold chill running down my spine. This is my crews first time going to a new planet. I wonder what this journey has in store for my crew and I. Our mission is to inspect the planet to see if it will serve as a new home. If the inspection goes as planned everyone would land and we would have found our new home but if not were doomed. Also, it will show if intelligent life exists.

"Captain Merham we are ready for take off," this is going to be a bumpy ride so fasten your seat belts. The space ship lifted off from the platform and we blasted of for planet Ufugugus. The space ship felt as if it were a oven and we were food sizzling in it. As the ship rocked form side to side I prayed that we would land safely because I didn't feel like blasting into a million pieces yet.

After a few seconds, the space ship slowly turned flat and we were not falling anymore. Our hover system kicked in just as we were about a half a mile of being blasted
