Trip to Oobleicka World
There once was a girl named Kamalei Garcia Who
wanted something more. She wanted to have
adventures and explore the world, to do
more than just to sit around and do nothing all
day.
One day there was an announcement that there was
going to be a singing contest and the top two
singers were going to be able to go to a planet
called Oobleicka.
The next day she went to the contest. And she
was overjoyed because she knew how to sing and play
ukulele. She loved to sing and she had a beautiful
voice. She sang to a song called "Waikiki". There
were many contestants. And many, many, came to
watch as she got up to the stage she was not
nervous at all. She sang her heart out. They
announced the winners thirty minutes after he last
contestant. "2nd place goes to Kaleialoha
Ka'auwai", the crowd cheered. "and the grand prize
winner is Kamalei Garcia." She jumped and screamed
loudly.
The next month they were all there at there at
the spaceship. There was a total of six adults.
There were three men and three women. The others
Besides Kamalei and Kaleialoha were 'Auli'i Herrod
and Anuhea Ka'awa who were professional scientists.
Also Ka'ulawena Braun and Kalalea Kawa'a who were
the pilot and the copilots respectively.
Kamalei who loves to sing, also loves to write.
Recorded her daily activities in a journal. The day
she arrived at Oobleicka world she wrote...
"Dear Journal,
Today we landed on Oobleicka world . The fire
from the spaceships' makes the gooey substance,
Oobleck hard and makes it a solid so that the
spaceship won't sink . As far as my social life
goes. I've became very good friends with all the
other passengers. After spending the past four
weeks together flying. "
They finally reached Oobleicka world. After two
weeks, Anuhea started bragging about how smart he
was and how he brought a lot of gas so that we
would not run out of gas going and coming back.
Unfortunately, two weeks after, they realized he
brought only enough gas for going and coming back.
Not realizing that he forgot they had to leave the
engine on twenty-four hours a day seven days a week
so that the Oobleck would stay hard.
Then, BOOM! the engine shut off, and they
started sinking. Everyone except Kamalei started to
panic, Oobleck entered from the cracks of the door.
They are now stuck. Kamalei rushed over to 'A'uli'i
and Anuhea and asked them "What are the base
elements of fuelick, a special type of gas, and
Oobleck?" They figured that it came out to be
exactly the same.
Then it hit Kamalei! She got an idea that she
was going to put ice on the Oobleck and its texture
became exactly like fuelick. So they put it in the
gas hole and it worked. The engine pushed them up
to the surface. They saw big and ugly Oobleck
monsters. Kaulawena gave out a scream. The Oobleck
monsters looked back and gave a scream back.
They took off. And successfully arrived home.
They had an amazing tale to tell about there
journey, about monsters and there adventurous
time.
