Planet Zeebs
"Ring, ring, ri-"
"Hello?"
"Hi may I speak to Jack Gordon?"
"Speaking, may I help you?"
"Yes, I am Stuart Souza who works for NASA and
we want you to go to Planet Zeebs so you can get a
sample of Oobleck because some scientists want to
study it."
"Hmm, do I get paid for this?"
"Yes, you get paid a couple hundred thousand
dollars ."
"Okay, I'll do it. Bye."
"Bye."
"Who was that honey?" said Jack's wife.
"Nobody. It was just some guy from NASA, who
wanted me to go on a mission to Planet Zeebs."
"Oh that's nice. when do you leave?" said Jack's
wife.
"I leave next month," said Jack.
So Jack went to the training station to work on
his piloting skills. The rest of the crew also had
to train. The names of the crew were Cindy, Ralph,
Alex, David and Todd. They hadto learn about all
the new technical gadgets on the spaceship. It took
them weeks to finish training. "Hey are you guys
excited about going on the trip?" asked Todd.
"I'm very exci-"
"Shut up, I'm trying to focus," said Jack.
"Hmm, what a jerk," thought Cindy.
The next day they were launcing off so they had
to get a good rest. Everybody went to bed early.
Finally, it was the day to launch. Everybody was
excited. Even Jack was excited. "Okay everybody,
are you ready to launch?" said Stuart Souza.
"Yes, sir." said the crew.
"We are to launch in 10 seconds. 10-9-8-7-,"
said the announcer.
"Are you ready for this, David?" asked Alex.
"I sure am."
"3-2-1, blast off!"
RRRRR-Bomm, "We made it!" shouted Ralph.
"We're floating, we are actually floating!"
shouted Todd.
"Oh pipe down Cheech," said Jack, "We have to
the planet and return to earth in two months, so no
foolin' around!"
Two weeks later they were almost there. They
passed the time by learning new things and getting
to know each other more. "Soo what are supposed to
be gettingat this Planet Zeebs?" asked Todd
"We are supposed to collect a sample of Oobleck.
I know you are going to ask me what Oobleck is.
It's Planet Zeebs' ocean. The planet is very
similar to ours. It has an atmosphere, oxygen,
plants and all kinds of things. Let me warn you
now, if you fall in you might be able to get out.
It is really sticky. Oh yaeh, stay out of my way,"
explained Jack in sassy voice.
Later they arrived at Planet Zeebs. "We made
it," said Ralph.
"We have to turn on the heat rays on so the
Oobleck becomes a solid," said Jack.
"All right," said Alex.
" Okay everybody, you can go out side. The doors
are opening," said Cindy.
"Grab a container and a shovel," said Jack.
"Hey Jack, I think the Oobleck is melting
because you are sinking," said Todd.
"Holy Guacamole, I'm stuck! Get me the heck out
of here!" screamed Jack.
"Hey Ralph and Alex, go get some rope!" yelped
Cindy.
"I have the rope," said Ralph.
"Jack grab the rope! Everybody pull!" yelped
Cindy with a really loud voice.
"He's almost out you guys," said Todd.
"Uhh, I think I'm going to break apart," groaned
Jack.
"Pull everybody, pull!"
Shnnk, "I'm free!" screamed Jack.
"Thanks guys. I would have never made it if you
weren't here." As Jack sat and thought about the
trip, he realized he had been a jerk. "Hey guys,
I'm sorry for what I did to hurt your feelings,"
apologized Jack. "I have been a real jerk."
"No problem," said the crew.
"Let's go get a sample of Oobleck and go home,"
said Jack.
So Jack learned how to work with other people
and they all went home and enjoyed their time up in
space together. "So honey how was your trip in
space?" asked Jack's wife.
"It was great, I enjoyed it a lot," said
Jack.
"Ring, ring, ri-"
"Hello?"
"Hello, may I speak to Jack Gordon?"
"Speaking."
"Sorry to interrupt you but, will you take
another to Planet Zeebsto get another specimen for
the scientists to study."
"Uhh sure, who may I ask is speaking?"
"Oh it's Stuart Souza, you might remember me.
You are going to have to get your own space crew
this time."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."
"Looks like I have to go on another mission to
planet Zeebs again." said Jack.
Jack called Cindy, Alex, Ralph, Todd, and David
to join him and they did. What will happen next
time to Jack and his buddies?
