A Long Trip To War™
Admiral Cord. sat at his desk in a dusty
office in Area 51. He was a young tall 35 year old
man with brown hair, He was the youngest Admiral in
history. He stay writing down classified notes on
things the government doesn't tell the public, such
as Visitors from other planets, discovery of new
weapons, and discoveries of new planets. One which
brings us to a certain one... Oobleck!A newly
discovered planet far off in the Platoon nebula.
Adm. Cord sighed as he kept writing. He slowly
turned is head to look at some pictures of a
greenish planet, then looked at pictures of the
alien spacecraft they found a few days ago. For it
was this craft that discovered the planet. Deep
inside the craft laid a map telling where Oobleck
stayed.The phone suddenly rang, Jophas Cord snapped
awake then pushed the button for the holographic
phone. A holographic picture of Mr.Kalae appeared.
He was stubby short man with no hair."Yes?" asked
Adm. Cord sharply. "Hello, Jophas," responded
Mr.Kalae, " How is the report going?" " Fine,
fine," responded, but Mr.Kalae knew he was really
up to his head in paperwork. "Well that's.. umm..
nice.." Adm. Cord grinned into the fuzzy image,"
anyway I havesome good news for you!""What World
War 3 has happened?" he asked hopefully. Mr.Kalae
let himself smile a bit."No sorry," he responded, "
but this ones better," Jophas blinked wondering
what it was, " You have been assigned out of a few,
to take an explorer up to this new planet was a
group of people, to explore this new world. Jophas
couldn't believe what he had just heard, He was
going into space!There stood a tall man with silver
hair, and glasses. He stood looking at the door
waiting for someone to come in. He blinked as the
door opened. There walked in Adm. Cordand Mr.Kalae.
Mr.Kalae gave a brief smile as he shook hands with
this person."Admiral this is Parkins your pilot and
technician." Jophas and Parkins shook hands"So YOU
are the person I've heard so much about." Jophas
stared like a deadghost into Parkins eyes. "Tell
me," continued Parkins, "How does it feel to be the
youngest Admiral inhistory?" Jophas allowed himself
to make a small smile."It feels tiring..." he
responded. Parkins gave him an odd look as if He
had just been insulted by the answer."Well,"
interrupted Mr.Kalae," I think we should get down
to business. Parkins and Jophas both turned their
head towards Mr.Kalae." Parkins I think you should
show Adm. Cord here the ship you will be using to
get to Oobleck." Parkins turned towards Jophas then
at this huge odd looking craft. " This is the S.P.
( SpaceWolf™ ) this is the ship we will be
using."Jophas took a good look at the ship it was a
upside-down shaped bowl armed to the bonewith
weapons and escape pods." This ship can take you up
to Hyperspace. It's armed with a main laser turret,
150 escape pods, a cold fusion engine, several
standard guns and a warp gate opener,"Jophas seemed
impressed, " a lot of exploring ships come with it,
and a data base.""How long will we be staying on
this planet "Oobleck"?" asked Jophas."Thirty days,"
responded Parkins. Jophas stood for a second and
tried to imagine what he had just got himself
into." You will be leaving in a week." finished
Mr.Kalae.
Hyperspace- Traveling at light speed but
changing the gravitational field so a object will
go 100 times faster.
Adm. Cord,Mr.Kalae, and Parkins walked
into a large room filled with people standing in a
row. Mr.Kalae stood in front of the first person.
He was a young,tall,strong 25 year old man. He
wore a black uniform which looked odd with his
black hair. On his uniform was a symbol of a circle
and star which meant he was a captain. Mr.Kalae
turned to Jophas."This is Captain Akira Okayia, he
will is a very skilled pilot and leader to your
troops,"said Mr.Kalae, " You will be taking some
infantry with you, just in case you encounter any
dangerous." Captain Okayia spoke in a high voice."
Pleased to meet you... You must be Adm. Cord,"
Jophas nodded then, Mr.Kalae walked in front of
this other person, a average sized man with blonde
hair and big glasses, that made his eyes appear
large. He was wearing a white lab coat with
pockets."This is your head scientist, John
Ooblock," continued Mr.Kalae, "he is the one who
discovered planet Oobleck, and that's why it's
named that.'" Jophas and John shook hands. Mr.Kalae
continued though the line of people. " This is
Chris,Nick,Jason,Lance, and Josh. They are all
brothers. Josh is the main fighter pilot, Nick the
Mechs, Chris the underwater, Jason the special
infantry unit, andLance the hacker." Jophas looked
puzzled. Why would they need a hacker for a science
mission? "Umm... Jophas?" said Mr.Kalae as he tried
to get his attention. Adm. Cord snapped awake.
Mr.Kalae gave him bizarre eyes as he wondered what
Jophas was thinking."Yes..." implied Mr.Kalae,
"There is one more person you have left to meet,"
Mr.Kalae looked worried, " he is here, but I can't
see him." Jophas seemed confused, "His name is
Zyphere, he is the most talented assassin ever, he
is very stealthy and quiet."Jophas flickered as he
saw a swift black shadow speed through the air
almost instantly.This must be the one and only
Zyphere. One week later the crew got ready for
takeoff. The ship was very special, it could
support people's life even when they were not
wearing any special equipment or had any
special training. The slowly loaded the
ship. Jophas waited behind to see "This
Zyphere".
As everyone else was boarding the ship,
he still waited. Suddenly he sw a very
quick black image fly across to the ship.
The image stopped moving right in front of
Jophas. There stood a tall slim,strong,man
dressed in completely black. Jophas stared in
awe, as he looked at Zyphere's odd
garments. he wore a black one piece suit with a
black
cape and a black head cover that covered
his entire head except a small opening from his
left eye to his right. Zyphere starred
back.
"Yes?" Zyphere said. His voice was very
deep and darkening. Jophas couldn't
keep his eyes off Zyphere's attire. His
clothes, his X-shaped belt, and the huge sword that
rested on his back. Zyphere gave Jophas a
evil glare then boarded the ship. Jophas
stood there gave a brief thought to
himself then boarded the ship.
The launch commander waited to everyone
one the ship was ready, then started
the countdown.
" Ten..Nine..Eight..Seven.." Jophas
felt very nervous, he was going into space and
might not ever return, "
Three..Two..One.." Jophas gripped tightly onto the
seat, "Zero!"
Jophas felt the blood in his body running
to the back of his head as the ship
blasted
upwards into space. The ship ripped
through the Atmosphere like a needle through
tinfoil.
As the ship flew into space Jophas
regained his blood. He screamed, "I
LIVE!"
as the ship blasted on past the
moon.
The G.E.P 1 quickly passed the moon.
Jophas unbuckled himself then stood up.
He quickly floated up because of the of
gravity. He hovered over to window to see a tiny
blue dot ( the Earth ) and a huge gray
circle ( the Moon ). He turned to see Zyphere
floating to room. Jophas followed him
in.
The room was large and circular with a
large box shaped machine in the middle.
Zyphere floated to the machine and was
about to push a button until he spotted Jophas.
He turned to Jophas then spoke, "Are you
sure you want to stay in here when I turn on this
machine?"
" What does it do?" asked Jophas.
Zyphere gave a brief smirk but no one could
see it because of mask.
"It's a Gravity Modifying Machine, it
will change the gravity of this room and will not
change even in Hyperspace."
"So you will be spending your time here
training i assume, why'll were in
Hyperspace sleeping?" asked
Jophas.
"That is correct," responded Zyphere,
"I will spend the valuable 8 days in
Hyperspace training instead of sleeping,
this machine can change the gravity I train in so I
can get stronger, For example I could
train in two times earth gravity and gain twice as
much
strength." Jophas starred in wonder, " is
the all?" said Zyphere cruelly, "if so then Get
Out!"
Jophas seemed shocked at the rudeness of
Zyphere, " What if I stayed and trained with
you?" Zyphere laughed, "You? You wouldn't
last 5 minutes with me and my sword, I train
at five times earths gravity! I would
slaughter you!" Jophas seemed enraged, " I've spent
my whole life with a sword!" Zyphere
seemed agreeable, " all right he said as he threw
Jophas a sword, "Lets go!"
Jophas could fell himself sinking as
Zyphere changed the gravity. Still he gripped
the handle gave out a scream of rage and
charged at Zyphere.
Jophas found himself on the floor, his
right arm bleeding like an active volcano. His
eyes starred hard at his severed arm, he
knew that he would have a large scar, when
suddenly his anger took over him. He
reached for the sword that lay on the ground next
to
him, stood up, and glared into Zypheres
eyes.
"Ready to give up?" asked Zyphere.
Without warning Jophas did the
unexpected,
he lunged at Zyphere with the massive
sword and successfully slashed his right arm.
A
small piece of Zyphere's black clothing
fell onto the floor dipped in blood. Jophas glanced
at Zyphere's right arm it was dipping with
blood! Zyphere acted as if nothing happened
and charged at Jophas...
Parkins opened the Hyperbolic hatch and
turned on the paging system, "The
Hyperbolic chambers are opened all
personals and crew please enter if not in the
training
room." Parkins stood up and walked to a
tube shaped cylinder with two large boxes on
each side. He walked into the chamber and
pushed the button on the side. The glass door
shut then, the boxes made a humming noise.
Suddenly the closed chamber started to
fill
up with a watery liquid and then
froze.
When every but Zyphere and Jophas had
been position in a hyperbolic chamber,
the ship's Ion Thrusters started to power
up. Then, like a bullet shot from a gun, the ship
sped through space.
8 days later the ships two main Ion
engines powered down. They had entered the
Oobleck solar system! Parkin's chamber
slowly drained and he walked out. He walked to
the control panel and switched on the main
screens. He viewed a map of the solar system
then hit the defrost button for all the
hyperbolic chambers. He typed in the location of
the
place they were landing, and sent e-mails
to the government when suddenly a red flash
appeared and the ship shook. Parkins
reached for the paging system and tried to page
Jophas, nut the pager in the training room
was broken. Then he tried a all ship page,
"Attention, we are being attacked
please do not panic, gunners man your stations. A
blood red ship flew across the screen with
a symbol on the side. It was a Arkan Armada!
The ship kept on getting hit until the
gunners reached the stations.
The Spacewolf™ fired at the ships
and knocked down a few, but still got ship at.
Parkins pulled the ship around and fired
the main canons, he shot a z-type fighter down. The
Spacewolf™ suffered many more hits
till finally Parkins got an Idea. He turned the
ship
around and flew straight for a asteroid
field.
He entered the field and flew very
skillfully through it. Many Arkin ships blew up by
hitting an asteroid. The Spacewolf flew
out of the asteroid field then fired a proton
missile at
it. The asteroid field exploded with a
bright flash destroying the rest of the Arkin
ships.
Parkins set the controls to automatic
and ran to the training chamber. He was going to
find out where the heck Jophas was! he
opened the door and felt himself being pulled to
the ground he tried to pick himself up but
he couldn't, until someone turned off the gravity
machine. It was Zyphere! He stood up, then
fell to the ground. Parkins looked around to
see Jophas on the floor along with Zyphere
both alive, but both drenched in blood! Parkins
had a medic take them to the med. room to
heal. He couldn't believe they tried to kill each
other!!Jophas woke up to find himself on a
bed in the med. bay. He looked to the right a
saw Zyphere unmasked and unconscious.
Zyphere had a very bold face and black hair.
His
hair very messy from lack of treatment.
Jophas looked around for his shirt, which had been
removed for treatment, when he noticed his
right arm. It was healed! yet, still it left a
large
scar. He paned over to Zyphere's right
arm. It also had a very large scar.
Jophas stood up, just to find himself
on the floor next to his bed. He scuffled over to
filers and opened them with a push of a
button. The filer popped open and Jophas
searched for his name.
"Coralicus…Corbgo…ah ha!
Cord," Jophas pulled his shirt out of the filer and
put it "
on. He stood up straight and turned around
just to find a dark black mask in his
face.
Zyphere had awakened! Instead of fighting
Zyphere again. Jophas simply walked
around
him. Zyphere opened the filer and pulled
out a little capsule, then threw it on the ground.
It
exploded in smoke and under the smoke his
sword appeared! Zyphere picked up the
bloody sword then walked off.
Jophas made his way up to the
cockpit,greeted Parkins, then sat down. He looked
at the main screen and spotted a green
planet not to far away. They had almost arrived!
Parkins stood next to Jophas.
"Sir, we will be landing shortly," he
said, " Captain Okayia would like to speak with
you once we land." Jophas kept his eyes
glued to the screen, " yes, yes, good,
good…"
he responded. Parkins rushed to the
controls and pushed some buttons.
20 minutes later, the Spacewolf™
started to enter the atmosphere. The ship shook
violently as it blasted through. Once the
ship had got out of the atmosphere. it headed for
the water ( Oobleck ). It released a
biodegradable floater from the button then hit the
Oobleck. It shook the ship, but no one was
hurt. The ship had landed on the planet
Oobleck!
Jophas promptly ambled to the captains
quarters. He walked to a white door with a
star on it. On the side laid a panel with
a button. Jophas pushed the button and the door
flew up. Jophas walked in to see Cap.
Okayia sitting in a chair.
"Hello Jophas," said Akira, "I would
like to make a request." Jophas pondered on
what Akira was going to say next, "I have
received information that life forms lay on
Oobleck
and I'd would like to take some L.R.s (
Land Rovers ) to go investigate." Jophas seemed
cautious, " are you sure there are life
forms? " he asked ," I received word that no life
dwelled on the surface." Akira responded,
"They're are life forms, I can assure you of that,
and If I'm right it could be a very
civilized race." Jophas still seemed uninfluenced,
"well then,
if that's the case I suggest that you take
some tanks too, just for safety." suggested
Jophas.
"Does that mean I have permission sir?"
wondered Akira. Jophas simply
responded, "Permission granted!"
2 hours later a boat docked near land.
It opened it's front and released 3 Tanks
and
Akira's own personal land rover. It was a
Jet blue smooth flat machine with two large
canons on the side. Akira drove it out of
the boat and gave commands to the tanks.
"All right crew, this is a search
mission, in the unlikely event we will run into
hostile
creatures, so Josh, tell Nick and Lance,
your trigger happy brothers to focus more on the
mission.
"Hey!" said Nick I'm not trigger happy
all the time. " "Yeah!" agreed Lance, "We
won't blow up everything…" Akira gave
a command before they said anything else.
"Lets move out!" he commanded. The
force began to move as Akira took the
lead.
The drove into the dark forest as Nick and
Lace kept rotating their turrets. They drove until
they came to a big lake of Oobleck and
suddenly Akira stopped. The tanks almost crashed
into him as he began to listen.
"Did you here that?" he asked briefly.
Nick looked around, "Here what?" he asked,
"That sound!" insisted Akira. Suddenly a
human shaped figure jumped out of nowhere and
scared the life out of the group.
Without thinking Lance did what his relaxes told
him, he released fire! A boom exploded
throughout the forest. Akira didn't know what
happened, he waited for the smoke to clear
and saw an object on the ground. It looked
like
a human. Akira quickly sent a instant DNA
test to it. He now knew for sure it wasn't
human!
It looked like a human body with an odd
blue jumpsuit. Out of nowhere another
jumped out,but this time they didn't
shoot. This strange creature said something they
couldn't
understand, "Ohkaÿka lamaÿkas
ÿas doÿsa ÿsdajsa jfiemvÿ!" it
screamed. Akira used a
Alien transmitter to figure out what he
was saying. Everyone looked down at their screens
which read:
Death to all who kill a clan, all shall
tremble beneath our hands!
They looked up to find the alien gone!
Akira gave orders move. They reloaded
in the ship at headed back to the
Spacewolf™.
Back at the ship Akira lunged into
Jophas's office. Jophas quickly stood up, "What
wrong Akira you look really worn out!" Akira caught
his breath before he said anything
"Ale…Aliens…In the forest!"
he finally said, "What?" Jophas asked, "Aliens?
"How civilized?" Akira tried to remember, "Very!
There genetic structure is a fused combine
of…"
"No! I mean technology wise!" Jophas
explained, "Oh!" said Akira, "I see…Well I
can't say for sure but I think they could be
using… " Akira was cut short, suddenly the
ship shaked like an earthquake. Sevrverl alarms
went off along with a load of blinking red lights
and sirens. Jason,Chris and Parkins came in through
the door.
"Sir," said Parkins, "We had been hit
by a biocentric fused particle ray!" Jophas looked
at him very oddly, "What?" asked Jophas Jason
interrupted, "Someone shootin' lasers at us!" Chris
walked up to Akira and Jophas, "Sir, i suggest we
take off and contact Nevada, we can call for back
up!" Jophas liked that Idea, "Great plan,Parkins
get to the controls,Chris, you Nick,Lance,Josh, and
Jason get to those guns. Keep them off as long as
possible." The ship shook again, "Hurry!" finished
Jophas.
Parkins ignited the main thrusters and
blasted upwards. The gunner held off the ships
until they got into space. Very oddly once they got
into space. The Oobleckians ships left then alone.
This was their chance. Jophas ordered Parkins to
open the 2 way warp gate.
Parkins over righted the system then a
joy stick popped up. Parkins carefully aimed it
then fired it about one mile away from the ship.
Akin walked into the control room.
"HQ has been notified they are sending
backup as we speak." Jophas sat down in a chair
and stared out the window A giant blue black hole
looking form appeared about a mile away, and
through it would come backup.
1 hour later ships began to come up of
the warp gate. X1 fighters came out first followed
by X2 fighter, A1 transports, and 3 World Class
E.W.A. assault ships. Each about a mile long and a
fourth of a mile wide. akira rushed to the window
very surprised.
"What are they doing? We asked for
backup not planetary assault ships!" he yelled,
"they must be out of there minds!" the ships flew
over to the Spacewolf™. The commander of one
of the W.C. E.W.A. assault ship spoke with Jophas,
"The Earth World Army has directed us the be of
service in this endeavor. Please state your
command!"
Jophas stood up with his hands behind his
back.
"All ships forward attack!" he
commanded. The ships begain to move toward
Oobleck's atomosphere. The planetary assult ships
just hover over the planet, while the smaller ship
brought down units and mechs. Oobleck fighters came
out in space and tried to atttack the planetary
assult ships, but there atempt was in vain. They
were quickly shoot many by the X1
Fighters.
Jophas and some of the crew of the
Spacewolf™ left the ship in space and traveled
down to the battlegrounds in transport ships. Nick
held a huge assult canon in his two hands just
waiting to get battlegrounds. Jophas knew Nick
wouldn't care if he died. All he wanted was to go
down and fight!
warp gate- A mode of interdemensial travel
which can transport objects instanly from on place
to another, but can only be used once per ships
life.
The transport ship slowly landed in a
secluded jungle so they wouldn't be shot
down.
Then started to unload the crew. Jophas
ambled out of the transport and ordered the
infantry to come out. A large group of 25 Assault
Troopers stepped out and stood in front of
Jophas.
"All right men we have a job. We have
received notice that a large Oobleck strike force
is heading in this direction. We will encounter
them and shoot them down. Our Air units are
fighting to keep the bombers at bay." the men
looked uneasy, "there are a lot of others groups
fighting right now se lets do our part to win this
war."
Suddenly a proton shot fired and killed
one of the troopers. The strike force had arrived!
The men got on their knees and fired. They
exchanged fire with the Oobleckians killing many
but losing troopers as they did. Nick brought out
his huge gun and fired. A giant beam of light
destroying at lease 10 Oobleckians. They fire fight
lasted for about 40 minutes. Many people died but
in the end the E.W.A. emerged victorious.
The Assault Troopers jumped for joy
until something unexpected happened. Nick who had
killed at lease 100 Oobleckians was shot to the
ground. Jophas quickly shot down the sniper that
was hiding in the trees, then ran over to Nick.
Nick gasped for breath, trying to keep his eyes
open. Jophas could only stare in despair. Finally
Nick spoke.
"Let my brothers know that I died in
combat. Tell them I will see them again someday."
After these last word, Nick took his last breath
then closed his eyes. Nick had died. Jophas
couldn't control himself. He picked up Nick B-2
Assault Canon that was blood driven. Then charged
at a nearby fire fight.
Jophas fired many times killing dozens
of Oobleckians. Tears piercing him he still fired.
He fired until there were no Oobleckians to kill.
Then fell to the grounded. He realized that all of
kills in the world would not bring Nick
back.
Jophas picked himself up. Then dusted
himself off. He tried to keep himself standing. He
called for a new weapon. A trooper brought him the
Sephiroth Blade™, a large sword sharper then
anything. A weapon of terrible destruction, yet
wielded by a tainted heart fueled in anger.
Many Oobleckians stepped up to shoot
Jophas. They fired, but there shots were in vain.
He ran swifter then any bird alive, then stepped
behind one of the Oobleckians. With a mighty force
he slashed off it's head. It's body fell to the
ground and it's head flew into the air with a green
fluidly wave gushing out. Like lighting Jophas flew
behind another one in fe5ya flash, and cut off his
head. He did this until everyone of them were
dead.
Jophas killed off anything that came
close enough to him. Until suddenly he was knocked
straight back by a powerful force. He jumped up and
blindly slashed at nothing. He waited and watched.
Swiftly he jumped straight up and slashed down. His
sword ripped something. As he landed he saw an odd
looking Oobleckian. It looked like a black
nightmare. It's arm lay on ground next to him. The
next thing that happened was very odd, he grew back
his hand.
Jophas panned down to what was in his
left hand, a sword! The creature spoke in
English.
"Youz…Will payz for a clanz
dethz!" He charged at Jophas and slashed, but
Jophas jumped out of the way. He had learned from
his training.
"Who are you?!" Jophas asked. The
creature responded with the answer, "I'mz
Zasz…Lord of Hoyazz clanz…" Then Zasz
attacked again, but this time he slashed Jophas's
right arm. It didn't hurt him a bit, because of his
metallic arm. Jophas slashed off Zasz's arm, but it
still grew back. Zasz countered with another slash,
this time slashing his face. Jophas jumped back in
pain. Then the two fought each other in powerful
battle.
Jophas fell to the ground, ravished. He
was about to be killed! Zasz raised the sword and
hacked down at Jophas. Suddenly a black flash
attacked Zasz. Theta next thing that Jophas saw
with Zasz's head on the ground, and Zyphere locked
in a position with is sword drenched in green
blood. Zyphere had killed Zasz!
Zyphere helped Jopha back to the ship,
they had won the war! Jophas thanked Zyphere and
laid in his bed. Jophas thought about his life. He
thanked god he was alive.
Jophas woke up to find himself home, in
his bed. Jophas was home! He walked out to find
thousands of troopers cheering his and Zyphere's
name. Jophas fell to the ground so happy yo be
home, that he began to weep. Jophas never again
regretted home, and how much he was
board.
