Alien Encounter
In the year 2020 there was a new
planet named Planet Oobleck, which was named after
its water source. It is like a green substance.
Planet Oobleck was discovered about 100,000 miles
away from Earth’s moon. Everyone
wanted to find out more about this new planet.
Tiffany and a crew of astronauts
were the lucky few who got to go to Planet Oobleck.
It took some time to get all the tools and supplies
ready for this trip, but on March 26 the spaceship
was ready and blasted off into space.
An hour later after takeoff the
spaceship landed on the Planet Oobleck with a rough
drop. After five minutes of making sure that
everyone was all right Tiffany looked at the fuel
meter, and saw that someone miscalculated the
amount of fuel needed for this trip. Now they
couldn’t get home!
The crew started to argue with
each other more and more. About who miscalculated
the fuel needed and saving enough food and water to
last for a while. One argument was about the lack
of fuel. Someone was telling Tiffany it was all her
fault that they got stuck on the Planet Oobleck.
And that she wasn’t a true
scientist just a little pest. This fight lasted for
two whole weeks.
On February 27th of
being on Planet Oobleck Tiffany
couldn’t stand being around her
fellow crew members bickering. So she decided to
explore her surroundings. When she came to the
liquid oobleck, she saw footprints that looked like
dog footprints only five times that size. She
followed the footprints that led her to an open
field filled with a big group of about 30 blue
gorillas. Or seemed like gorillas. All the
alien’s fur were messy and they
all had saliva running down their mouths. I t
wasn’t a pretty sight to see.
Disgusted with how they looked, Tiffany ran away as
fast as she could. Then when she was running back
to tell her crew members of her discovery, a
monstrous thing jumped out from behind a boulder.
Tiffany was so frightened that her face went white
as snow.
The monstrous thing turned out
to be one of the aliens. After the alien was
apologizing over and over again, the alien
introduced herself. Her name was Tammy. Tammy was
trying to explain to Tiffany that scaring Tiffany
was an accident, but Tiffany was so mad from being
taken off guard that she stomped back to the
spaceship.
When Tiffany arrived back at the
spaceship, she told the crew how rude and messy
these aliens were. “Their fur is
all messy and drool hangs off of their
mouths”, said Tiffany. She even
suggested getting rid of the aliens. The crew
strongly agreed with Tiffany’s
plan. From Tiff’s descriptions of
the beasts and her encounter with one of them, the
crew felt that their lives were at risk. So they
felt that they must destroy their so-called
enemies. However, Tiffany left out the part about
the alien, Tammy, being friendly afterwards and
saying that scaring Tiff was an accident.
Unfortunately Tiff left that part out because she
was so mad with Tammy still yet. This made Tiffany
strongly dislike Tammy and her other alien
people.
The next morning Tiffany went
exploring again. When she got to the field where
she first saw the aliens, she saw Tammy. Still mad
with her, Tiffany tried to leave before Tammy could
saw her. Tiffany was too late. Tammy already
spotted her and was trying to catch up with Tiff.
When Tiff turned around to see if Tammy saw her,
Tammy was right behind her with a wide smile on her
face. Tammy said, ,"Hello, do you want to play with
me?" Tiffany automatically refused and started
walking away faster. Tammy was known for being very
persuasive and wouldn’t take no
for an answer, so she kept persuading Tiff until
she agreed to come with her into the plains to
play. Curious with what Tammy had planned Tiff
agreed to come along. They started playing hide and
seek. Tiffany and Tammy were having so much fun
that they were playing all day long. Soon enough
Tiffany and Tammy were best of friends. Tammy took
Tiff to meet her alien family and friends. Tiff
realized that the aliens weren’t
bad after all. The aliens were really friendly and
gentle creatures. Tiff ran back to the spaceship
with a skip in her step. She
couldn’t wait to tell her
crewmembers how sweet the aliens were and that they
shouldn’t be killed.
Back at the spaceship, Tiffany
couldn't convince the crew that the aliens were
gentle and not dangerous. Tiff decided to have the
crew meet the aliens in person. At first they were
against it, but soon enough their curiosity
overcame them. And they went.
At first the crew was hesitant
to go any where near the aliens. Until one alien,
Tammy, came up to them and introduced herself and
her other alien family and friends. The crew and
the aliens began to mingle with each other and all
of a sudden they were all chatting away. They
started talking about all kinds of stuff. Like how
they got to the planet and about how it was hard to
work as a team instead of as individuals.
When Tiffany told Tammy about
her spaceship's problem, Tammy let her in on a big
secret. It turns out that the oobleck could be used
as fuel. Thankful for this information Tiffany and
her crew told the aliens they could come to Earth
whenever they wanted. With a little help from the
aliens they filled the fuel tank with oobleck. The
crew said their farewells to the aliens. And then
the crew got onto the spaceship and blasted off.
Soon enough they were back on Earth telling
everyone about their encounter with their new alien
friends.
When the crew was al going back
to their own homes Tiffany realized that if it
weren't for Tammy being so nice to her and her
crewmembers they would have never came back home.
Tiff decided that she would never judge a person
before getting to know them first. Now Tiffany goes
up to Planet Oobleck on a regular bases and visits
Tammy and her aliens. Tiffany and Tammy stayed
friends for the rest of their lives.
