The Loss Of Fuel
It was a day of excitement. It was the day that
the first and only man made spaceship was going
into space and it was going to be flying to the new
planet that people new as planet Oobleck.
The people that were going to fly were the crew
that was known as the one and only special number
one crew: The Green Team.
This was not only a team that was a part of the
Onizuka Space Center. This was a team that was
number one and this team always did everything
correct. There was nothing on a mission that they
couldn't conquer.
The people on this team were, Captain Keani,
Kamu the silent one, Kamyl the friendly one, Kaleb
the talkative one, Charlotte the smart one, Ianeke
the funny one, Chase the chef, Claire the phone
operator, and Ashleigh the space station commander.
This is the one and only special number one green
team.
So they were all getting prepared for
their one and only lift off up into space in search
of the planet Oobleck. Finally it was time for the
spaceship to take off into space. They were all
ready to go and explore the planet Oobleck.
" Everyone get ready because the greens
team is going to take off the countdown is going
on. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four,three,
two, one. People we have a success our spaceship is
taking off and they are gone. Good luck green team
and make your space commander proud." said
commander Ashleigh with confidence in her face. "
Ok my people we are in space and we are going to
the planet Oobleck. Be prepared because we still
didn't find out what kind of living things are on
that planet. So please be aware of everything that
you see and do." explained Captain Keani.
The green team was in search of the planet
Oobleck for almost one day and a half now and they
were getting a little sick of staying in the
spaceship all night and all day so they decided to
speed up the spaceship a little.
The next day everyone woke up to a hair raising
alarm going off in the spaceship and it was warning
them that they were only half a mile away from
their destination.
So Captain Keani turned off the alarm and
they all want to work getting ready to land the
spaceship on the planet Oobleck.
Then they realized that the had to make
sure that everything was ready to land in the
Oobleck ocean. On planet Oobleck they made that
name up for the planet because the ocean on planet
Oobleck was mad of a weird gooey substance called
Oobleck.
The spaceship that they were flying in had
a bottom that was shaped like a boat because the
ocean on planet Oobleck reacts to different types
of touches and only certain types of object can
float on the surface of the oobleck. So they made
the spaceship wit a boat shaped bottom so that it
will float on the top of the Oobleck just like a
regular boat does on regular water.
Then another alarm went off. It was signaling
that the spaceship was beginning to come low on
gas. So the green team began to go even faster so
that they reached planet Oobleck faster so that
they don't run out of gas in the middle of no
where.
They reached the planet Oobleck in less then ten
minutes. Right when they got their the alarm went
off again and signaled that they were out of gas.So
Captain Keani told Kamu who was known as the silent
one and told him to turn off the fire blazing
boosters and to let out the parachute.
They needed to land in the ocean of oobleck and
they needed to float down into the oobleck so that
it didn't give them any trouble when they land. The
boat shaped bottom of their boat would hit the
oobleck and make it hard so that it stops the ship
from sinking.
So they began to float down into the oobleck and
slowly they madit down to the oobleck and hit the
surface.
" All right people we made it down to the
oobleck now let's rest because we have a big day
ahead of us. Tomorrow we are going to go off the
spaceship and we are going in search of a place
that we can get some mushrooms to fuel up our
spaceship. So they all rested and the next morning
they all woke up and they took the little raft that
they kept inside the spaceship just in case and
they needed it. then they floated all the way to
shore.
They made it to planet Oobleck and they were on
land looking for somewhere that they could find
mushrooms to fuel up their spaceship. So they all
went together in a big group to go and look for
some mushrooms. While they were walking they met up
with a girl. Her name was Lowena. She lived there
on the planet Oobleck butt all of her family had
died so she lived there alone.
When they saw her Captain Keani said," Excuse
me, my name is Keani and i am the captain of this
crew here. We lost fuel on our way here and we
don't have anymore to refuel our spaceship. Do you
know of anywhere where we can find some mushrooms.
Well you see our spaceship is a spaceship that
takes only mushrooms as it's fuel."
" Actually you came to the right person because
I know just where you can find a bunch of
mushrooms." said Lowena excitedly.
" Really can you tell us where," asked Captain
Keani impatiently.
" Well do you see that cave right there?
In that cave there lives the one and only Mush Man.
In that cave there are lots of mushrooms. All you
need to do is go inside and ask him politely if you
can have some mushrooms and he will give them to
you." explained Lowena.
" Thank you very much for helping us we will
never forget you," said Captain Keani courteously.
So Captain Keani and her crew and they headed to
the cave to go and get some mushrooms from the Mush
Man so that they could get fueled up and they could
get home. They got to the cave and walked in very
carefully. Then they heard a deep shaky voice say,
" Who has entered the cave of the Mush Man?"
" Um... Excuse me Mr. Mush Man, I am very sorry
for disturbing youform whatever you were doing but
my name is Captain Keani and this is my crew. We
have come from planet earth to explore your
wonderful planet Oobleck and we ran out of fuel
when we got here. The thing we came to you for is,
we wanted to ask you if we could have some
mushrooms from your cave? Our spaceship that we
came here in is fueled up on by mushrooms. so can
we please borrow some mushrooms from your cave and
we won't bother you anymore?"
Now the Mush Man wasn't a very nice guy to be
around because he didn't like it when people
bothered him. So he told them that they could have
some mushrooms so that they get off his beloved
planet and so that they didn't bother him.
" Well then i guess you could have some
mushrooms as long as you don't bother me anymore."
explained the Mush Man to Captain Keani.
So they gathered the mushrooms that they needed
for their spaceship. Then they left the Mush Man
alone. They got back got back to their spaceship
and then they were finally aloud to get off the
planet Oobleck. They did get back to planet earth
and boy did they have a story to tell their
children and grandchildren and their
great-grandchildren after `that. Then so on and so
on.
