COP includes:

1. turning in all assignments on time

2. keeping your art notebook and portfolio organized, up to date

3. being in your seat with all supplies ready when the bell rings

4. cooperating with classmates on group assignments/clean up

5. actively participating during class time

How can I earn COP points?

• Up to 10 points for turning in assignments/homework on time
• Up to 5 points for volunteering
• From 25 to 100 points for keeping your notebook and portfolio organized. These will be checked periodically; the longer the period, the more the points
• 2 to 5 points each day for being in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings
• Up to 10 points for behavior and activities during class time

How can I lose COP points?

• -2 points for not being on time and ready to work
• -3 points each item for not having supplies needed for the day's work
• -10 points for not having homework the day it is due (if absent, see below)
• -10 points for not helping classmates clean up
• -1 to -5 points for disruptive behavior

What do I do if I am absent?

You are responsible for making up any classwork and/or homework assignments missed on a "day for day" time policy. After that, you will lose 5 COP points per day that your make up work is late. When you are absent, call your homework buddy or the school to have someone pick up assignments for you to do before you return.
