Creating Photoshop Files for Animation Frames

Don't work from the server! Copy all your animation files from the server to the computer's hard drive. Copy all new and edit files from your computer's hard drive to server at the end of the period.

1. Open Photoshop

2. Go to File > Open File

Select your finished scan#.psd file

3. Edit the position of a moving object on a Layer

Rotate - Go to Edit > Transfrom > Rotate
Position the anchor at the pivot point. Drag a corner of the object to a new position. Double click inside of the object to deactivate the feature. Reminder... Smaller movements create a smoother moving animation.

Perspective - Go to Edit > Transfrom > Perspective
Drag a corner of the object up/down or in/out to create the effect of the object moving either nearer or farther away. Double click inside of the object to deactivate the feature. Reminder... Smaller movements create a smoother moving animation.

Edit the position of all moving parts within the frame.

4. Go to File > Save As...

Change the name (move1.psd --> move2.psd) of the file for each time the file is saved.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all the movements are completed.
