Battle Of Murfreesboro Scientist Page Weapon The Smith & Wesson Army Revolver #2 Smith and Wesson started producing this gun right at the start of the Civil War. Although this gun was mostly used as a secondary gun it was preferred amongst officers with high rankings. This gun is a typical six shooter but it was built to deliver a huge punch, build for faster reloading, and one of the more accurate revolvers if its time. It came with water proofed ammunition and usually had a blue finish to its barrel.       Environmental Conditions When this historic battle started to take grounds, they were entering into the winter's harsh climate. It surprises me how these people fought in freezing cold temperature, with the highest temperatures reaching at least 10 degrees Celsius. Troop Movement
