We drove you from Mississippi

You entered Tennessee,

Our Union troops had followed you

To put your soul to rest.

We Found you in December,

We went to sleep that night,

And on the 31st you tried

To take out our right flank.

Chorus:

Hurrah, Hurrah

You tried you failed hurrah,

Gonna kick your butts and then

We keep this dream alive.

Rosecrans to lead us,

Bragg your going down,

But we are going o take your head,

and fill your Sourthern graves.

With Lincoln for our president,

We lead our country's wars,

And keep this beloved dream alive

That freedom stays alive.

Chorus

We spanked you like our mothers

No time to kill our lord

With idol hands at that river

We threw you overboard

So now your nearly dead

At your faithful hands you die

We kicked your but and then

That dreams we kept alive

Chorus
