Battle Hymn of the Republic

Mine eyes have seen the glory
Of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage
Where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning
Of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.

Chorus

Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
Glory! Glory! Hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.

Battle Hymn of Petersburg

My eyes have seen the last battle of the Civil War
It frightened many soldiers and killed many more.
It turned into a siege and made Lee very sore.
But neither Confederates or Union won.

Chorus

Peter, Peter, Petersburg
Peter, Peter, Petersburg
Peter, Peter, Petersburg
Neither Confederates or Union won

My eyes have seen the Siege of Petersburg.
Grant attacked the city but Lee held him off.
Grant held Lee under siege and weakened up the scum.
But neither Confederates or Union won.
