The Battle of the Kearsage vs. the Alabama was a very short battle. After only 20 minutes, the Kearsage which is the ship from the North sunk the Alabama, the ship from the South. It was such a great victory for the north it was rated one of the top Naval battles during the Civil War. The war took place right off the coast of Cherbourg, France.
