The Civil War Continues
Why spend so much time in a war that ended six score and 17 years ago? The battles researched here helped students become better acquainted with the most important event in American history since our country began. The Civil War proved that we were willing to live up to the beliefs of our revolution: that all people are created equal. Though the Civil War is over, the struggle to reach its goal of true equality continues today. The battles displayed here serve as testimony to the high price Americans are willing to pay to live in a free society.
