Pikoi and the Enemies of the Chief

This is how Pikoi killed the enemies of the chief. The chief of Hawai’i, Keawe-nui was waiting for a canoe to arrive. This canoe was brand new, he had just sent his men to make it for him. Birds were standing on a branch and yelled at them, the men didn’t know where the voice was coming from. The leader of the group sent a man to the chief to tell him what had happened. The chief told the men to do the same as they did before so they did. The exact thing had happened.

The chief ordered his men to get all the best archers in the islands, so they did. All the archers had tried to hit these bird but they all missed. The chief heard that Pikoi on the island of O’ahu was a good archer. He sent his men to get him, so they did. When Pikoi came to the island of Hawai’i he shot all the birds with one shot.
