PROJECT
DESCRIPTION: This interdisciplinary Koa Team project
focuses on ‘Ike Hawai‘i, to cultivate knowledge
of Hawaiian literature and oral traditions. Learning and sharing
of knowledge were enhanced through the use of educational technology.
Students selected myths and legends related to a particular
area
of the Hawaiian Islands in social students; wrote an introduction
and audio taped their storytelling for English; and animated
a scene during art class.
