INTRODUCTION:
Have you ever felt like everything was coming to an end
and that there was nothing else for you to do? Well, on the island of
Hawaii, the Chiefess of the village Kaupulehu encountered this problem.
This mysterious legend tells how a Chieffess’ people suffer from
a great drought. She sought help from her Kahuna who gave assistance but
not as soon as the chiefess had hoped. Why was that? Why did the Chieffess
have to wait before receiving help for her people? Well this brings us
to another question.
Have
you ever done things that you regret? As for this Chieffess, she had to
suffer the agony of watching her people fall because she had to take time
to consider her sins. A stranger then came to the village. Who was this
man? What did he want? The history behind this unknown character was unknown
to the Chieffess and the people, yet there had to be a reason as to why
this man appeared.
Then,
out of nowhere, questions turn into answers and a remarkable miracle occurs.
Will the Chieffess have a change of heart? Will the village people survive?
And what exactly does this uninvited stranger do for the people in the
village? To find out more, you must read this exciting and exhilarating
legend, “The Waters of Kane.”
