English
Hi! I’m Lani. Actually, my name is Renade Lani Kaneakua. I’ve been told that my first name is German, but I’m not really sure. What I am sure of though, is that I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching 7th English on the Koa team here at Kamehameha Middle School. I have held a variety of other teaching positions here at Kamehameha and the public school system in the Department of Education. I am looking forward to a very exciting year of working with all of you. As a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawaii, my hearts desire is to provide Hawaiian children with every educational opportunity available.

I am married and have three children, Puna, Lana, and Ka’i my youngest is in the 7th grade at the Middle school campus.

There’s not much of it, but in my free time I love to be with family and friends. Going to the beach, tooling around the island with my husband on his Harley, and reading a good book are a few of my favorite past times.

God is good and I am blessed to be a part of all the teams here in Middle School. Imua Kamehameha!
