Aloha! I am Mrs. Lori Murakami and am honored to be at Kamehameha School as the new 7th grade teen health teacher. I look forward to the exciting journey of learning and teaching to promote a healthy and active lifestyle to all the students.

I attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa and received a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Educational Administration.

The majority of my teaching career has been with the Hawaii State Department of Education as a health/physical education teacher at various locations on the Windward side of the island for 17 years.

I grew up on the Windward side and still reside on that side of the island with my husband Clinton and sons Jason and Carson who attend Kamehameha Elementary School.
In my leisure I enjoy riding our family boat in Kaneohe Bay.

My hobbies include surfing, tent camping and exercising.
I look forward to a great year with all the 7th grade students!
